Browsing The Wiki
So, you want to learn to reverse, eh? Well, although I'm sure
ReWiki will never be a
complete guide to reversing, that's what we're aiming for! It doesn't just have definitions for common reversing terms, but also contains lots of tutorials and articles on a wide variety of subjects, contributed by
the Team as well as the community. However,
ReWiki (before it took it's Wiki form) was originally designed to be a sequential set of tutorials, from which someone willing to learn could do so. So ofcourse, parts of this original plan have been retained and you will find the
ReWiki official tutorials
try to flow together.
Ofcourse, this is a site aimed at
teaching you how to reverse, for this reason many of the tutorials (especially the more advanced ones) will not spoon feed you information. You need to be dedicated to learn to reverse and cannot expect to learn without putting in effort. If you're unsure of whether you have what it takes to learn to reverse,
Still dedicated? Well, heading over to the tutorials section and reading the 'official' tuts (those contained in Category Tutorials Official, without the spaces) would be a good start (The official tutorials will link to definitions you will need to know for each tutorial and were written solely for this site).
Ofcourse, there's quite a lot of information just lying around the site, the Wiki is categorized in a liberal way, so you should be able to find interesting knowledge by simply browsing through relevant categories, but there's always the search button if you're looking for something specific (located at the bottom of every page!).
Why stop at learning?? Once you feel you've aquired enough knowledge and wish to contribute, get noticed! This site is community driven and needs support from people like you, so pop in to the
IRC channel and get involved. Chances are, if we like you and you show sufficient knowledge in a field, we'll ask you if you want to be an
editor!
Happy reversing!
